This is my second tattoo. There are several meanings behind it, the first being my love of music. It’s also a subtle reference to one of my favorite quotes by Jim Morrison (“Pain is something you carry, like a radio.”), and it’s a reference to my last name.

My friend and I heard the song “Kill Your Heroes” by AWOLNATION for the first time and both knew immidiately we wanted this lyric tattooed. It’s my fourth and most favorite tattoo. It means a whole lot to me and will serve as a daily reminder to never hold myself back because there’s plenty in the world to do that for me. Jon Hill at The Salty Dog in Fort Worth, Texas did an incredible job and I can’t wait to go back to get my next one!
